God has answered our prayers we post the following letter.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ at Grace (Scroggins, TX) and Crown of Life (Pueblo West, CO):
Deliberating this call has been a great struggle for me personally, because I was not looking for a change, and I am so happy and content serving with my brothers and sisters here at Grace. I had 2 things that I was wrestling with here, the secondary one was this: me. Do I stick with where I am most comfortable, or do I tackle a challenge where I might be pushed harder and find myself involved in an expanded ministry.
My primary concern here was for Grace: is this congregation strong and stable enough for me to go? I
think it is – by God’s grace. We have great leadership, great unity, and great ministry going on. Crown of Life has offered us time here in the transition – time to finish our current Discovering Grace course / time then
also to find a vacancy pastor who can faithfully serve here at Grace until such time as God provides another full-time shepherd.
Therefore, I ask for a release from my current call to Grace as I’m accepting the call to Crown of Life. I ask for your prayers: prayers for me and my family as we begin a new chapter in our ministry / prayers for the
Grace family and for the flock that gathers here / prayers for the Crown of Life family as they begin a new chapter with a new shepherd.

Crown of Life Lutheran Church is a place where everyone is invited! We are a friendly, Bible-believing group of Christians who have worshipped together since 1998. We moved into our current church home, a beautiful worship center on 145 S Abarr Drive, in 2008.
Sundays at Crown of Life
Church can be an intimidating place to visit — especially if you don’t know what to expect. In our worship, we gather to strengthen our faith through the study and hearing God's Word. We also gather to offer God our praise for all he has done for us. Our 11:00 am worship services include Scripture readings, a message from the Bible, a children's message especially for them, prayers and music. We also offer fellowship time after worship to get to know you and that is all preceded by our Family Bible Hour at about 10:00 am with classes and Bible Study for all ages.

AUTHENTIC WORSHIP
In our worship, we gather to strengthen our faith through the study and hearing of God's Word. Our worship services include Scripture readings, a message fom the Bible, children's message, prayers and music. We use a variety of instruments; piano, organ, trumpet, violin, guitar and percussion. We believe that you have the right to hear what God says, not what we think. Our goal is to let the Bible speak for itself. Our promise to you is that we will preach and teach in a way that meets these goals as well as helps you grow in your knowledge and love for God and his Word. We are committed to making our message timely and relevant and we are also committed to staying faithful to God's unchanging, timeless truth as it is found in the Bible.
